Lunchathon Day 2: from the ashes...
We four strong, forged our journey brave and true into the heart of poshest Notting Hill. Our destination... Fresh and Wild. The fabled posh salad shop patronised by only the most foolhardy cash heavy traveller.
It was shut. The man, who was oddly dressed ready to serve, told us they're moving to High St Ken. After a brief group sob, we sank even deeper into the sick twisted avenues of Portabello. One of our brave fell to the heavy demands of the trek. He sadly died. Poor Pikey.
The brave three continued toward the promise of Babylon styled feasting. We found it in the form of Sausage and Mash Cafe. I had one chilli banger, one Cumberland banger, parsnip mash, mush gravy. It was better than you can imagine.
Stuart very kindly destroyed any left over beans and mushy peas. A gentleman.
